Shop
"Shop For Meaning", is a central experience in personal independence and professional training in the area of commerce and sales for youth with physical and/or sensory handicaps, with no preference for religion, ethnicity or gender. Working in the store and meeting the visitors in the store, give our youth an opportunity to really experience work. Its location in the city center of old Akko is part of the meaningful initiative in good relations while living in a mixed community, while giving and receiving mutual respect to our neighbors. In "Shop For Meaning" we have created a unique shopping experience with added value. In the store, a wide variety of beautiful gifts await you, unique souvenirs, and art objects which carry environmental and social messages: products that are created marketed and sold using the principles of "fair trade" alongside products that are made according to the standards of environmental quality and recycling. Exciting products that were made by people with special needs, alongside art objects that were made by some of the best artists in the Galilee. Every product and artist has its own story. In addition, we will be happy to arrange for groups, a package including an introduction to the non-profit organization, "Kivunim" and other projects and meeting our employees and hearing their stories. Warm reception and personal service – promised in advance.
